Although surprising to some, breeding a naturally strong, and genetically sound herd is no mean feat, and there are many differences in the choices to be made in breeding depending on the intended purpose for the livestock.
For our herd of cattle, We currently use 2 award-winning stock bulls, and already have a promising young herd of calves to one of them this year - as of spring 2009, details can be found on the "Hereford herd" page.
Once both Dam & Sire are selected, the breeding stages are carefully controlled throughout.
